Last updated: 27 August 2026 · Applies to the Peg Ball Party app for iPhone and iPad.
Peg Ball Party (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a single-player physics peg-shooter game distributed through the Apple App Store. This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and what choices you have. If any part of it is unclear, write to us — the address is at the bottom of this page.
The App has no login, no user profile and no social layer. We do not collect:
The App can turn a picture into a playable board, into an orb decal, or into your host portrait, and it uses the live camera for Colour Hunt rituals. This is why iOS may ask you for camera and photo permissions.
To let you continue where you left off, the App stores the following in its own sandboxed container on your device: game progress (halls lit, boards cleared, peg species met), currency balances, owned and tempered orbs, unlocked milestones, settings such as sound, haptics and accessibility options, and any boards or decals you have created from your own pictures.
This data stays on the device. We cannot read it. If iCloud Backup is enabled in your iOS settings, a copy may be included in your encrypted Apple backup, governed by Apple's privacy policy. Deleting the App removes this data from the device.
Some screens load content from our servers over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. As with any internet request, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information needed to deliver a response and keep the service secure:
| Data | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| IP address | Routing the response; abuse and fraud prevention | Up to 30 days in server logs |
| Device model, iOS version, app version | Serving content that fits your device; diagnosing faults | Up to 30 days in server logs |
| Language and region settings | Showing content in a suitable language | Up to 30 days in server logs |
| Date, time and status of the request | Reliability monitoring and security | Up to 30 days in server logs |
This information is used for operating and securing the service only. It is not combined into a profile, not used for advertising, and not sold or shared with data brokers.
Certain informational pages (such as this policy) may be displayed inside the App in a standard system web view. While you view such a page, the website you are viewing may set cookies or local storage in that web view, exactly as it would in Safari. Clearing the App's data or deleting the App removes them. Links that point outside our own pages open in your default browser, where the privacy policy of the destination site applies.
If you write to us through the support page or by email, we receive the email address you provide, the subject or reason you select, the message you write, and anything you choose to attach or quote (for example a description of your device or a screenshot).
The App is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. There are no accounts, no chat, no user-to-user messaging and no behavioural advertising. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through a support request, write to us and we will delete it promptly.
We keep the list of external parties as short as possible:
We do not use third-party analytics, attribution or advertising SDKs inside the App.
Our servers and email systems may be located outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit with TLS. Data on your device is protected by iOS app sandboxing and device encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit risk by collecting as little as possible in the first place.
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the EEA and the UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents additionally have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights; note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CPRA.
To exercise any right, contact us at the address below. Because we hold so little — typically nothing more than a support email thread and short-lived server logs — most requests are handled within a few days, and always within 30 days. Data held only on your device can be erased by you at any time by deleting the App.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, highlight them in the App. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
